Canadian Football League Betting
Football has been played in Canada since the mid 1800's, and the Canadian Football League (CFL) has been presenting their unique version of the sport since 1958. After NHL hockey, the CFL is Canada's most popular professional sports league and plays an 18 game regular season beginning in mid June and ending in early November. There are a number of differences between Canadian football and its NFL counterpart including a bigger ball, a larger field and three downs per possession instead of four. Also unique to CFL football is 'the single'--one point awarded for any kick that travels out of the back of the endzone, meaning that a missed FG often results in a 'single'. Despite the differences from the NFL, CFL football offers a hard hitting, highly competitive and very entertaining wagering opportunity.
