England Leagues Odds
Although evidence of similar games has existed since the 2nd Century BC, the modern form of soccer was born in England. The game's formal beginning in England can be traced to the mid 1800's, and it took off quickly from there to the point where it has now surpassed cricket as the most popular sport in Great Britain. In fact the very word 'soccer' originated in England as a slang term for football or association football. At the top of the British soccer hierarchy is the English Premier League (EPL), though betting opportunities can be found all throughout the country's professional soccer hierarchy. Immediately below the EPL is the Football League Championship followed by Football League One, Football League Two and Conference National.
