Italy League Odds
The top level of Italian professional soccer is known as the Lega Nazionale Professionisti, and it provides oversight for the two top leagues--Serie A and Serie B. 20 teams compete in the elite Serie A league while 22 teams comprise the secondary Serie B league. Italian professional soccer dates back to 1946, and Serie A is considered along with the English Premier League and the Spanish La Liga the most popular sports leagues in Europe. Also under the auspices of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti is the national club competition, the Coppa Italia and Supercoppia Italiana. Overall, Italian soccer has ten levels of competition comprising hundreds of teams though most betting takes place on Serie A and to a lesser extent Serie B.
