WTA Betting
The World Tennis Association (WTS) is the top sanctioning body of women's professional tennis. The WTA was formed in 1973 and like their counterpart for mens' tennis(the ATP) they oversee most of the major women's tennis events in the world. Their top events, like the men, are the Grand Slam events (Wimbledon, The US Open, The French Open and The Australian Open) but they promote smaller tournaments that offer countless tennis wagering opportunities. Russian Dina Safina is currently the world's #1 ranked singles player, with Venus and Serena Williams, Elena Dementieva and Jelana Jankovic rounding out the top five.
